Museum Manager Position

The Donalda & District Museum is seeking an individual to fill the position of Museum Manager. The position requires a person with education and background in museum administration, educational background in historical studies which complements our Museum subject matter, or equivalent qualifications and experience. In addition, the individual we seek should have prior background in management with the ability to work with volunteers, diverse groups and situations.

The Donalda & District Museum is located in east central Alberta on the picturesque west bank of the Meeting Creek Coulee. The Museum manages an assortment of diverse historical structures, (the main museum, the historic Imperial Bank of Canada building (1928), the Donalda Co-operative Creamery (1924) and several collections (oil-burning lamps, native artifacts and Métis and early European pioneer settlement history).
