World's Largest LampThe World's largest lamp was officially opened on July 1, 2000, as a millennium project, designed to complement Donalda's outstanding lamp collection. The lamp stands 42 ft high (12.8m) and 17 ft wide (5.18m) at the base and is recognized as being the World's Largest Lamp. The lamp overlooks the Meeting Creek valley and lights up at dusk each night. The lamp is open for viewing during museum hours.
